The caligraphy will be drawn by Shouhack(樵白), the grandson of the late caligrapher aka Sho-un(樵雲), aka Kan Taniguchi;-)
This Japanese folding fan is of Kyoto and made by the fan artisan in Kyoto for classical Japanese dancing 日本舞踊。This special fan is called Mai-sensu 舞扇子。Used by likes of Geish and Maiko too。Quality Japanese washi paper with Rouge urushi lacquered ribs 朱塗 are used。Comes with the bambou stand from Kyoto。
